7th Annual Summer Soccer Celebration

Soccer Extravaganza hosted by Edina Soccer Club and Edina Soccer Assoc.
Featuring Soccer activity and competitive events for players of all ages. A FREE event for soccer families to celebrate another great year for Edina Soccer.

The Summer Soccer Celebration will feature several competitive events for age groups 8-12. Please click on competition tabs for more information. ESA and ESC coaches can answer any additional questions.

Soccer Celebration Competition - 2012
Four distinct competitions will be formed and judged by ESC coaches. Prizes and/or trophies will be awarded in each competition. Each competition will

Defined:

3 v. 3 Tournament

The 3 v 3 tournament play will evolve from pick up games to bracketed play amongst like genders and ages. Interested parties between U8 – U12 can form teams or sign up as an individual for tournament play. Teams will be recognized as 3 man rosters or formed to compete in like gender and age. Juggling

Players must register by 1pm on day of event (7/22) to compete for prizes. Coaches will monitor high juggles scores Best jugglers will move along in elimination event that will give competitors 2 chances to get their best score moving ahead to the FINALS. Each like age group will compete during the Summer Soccer Celebration. U11 and U12 must start the juggling from the ground. This process will continue to drive interest and motivate kids within age groups to build their best performance. Click here for more on the Juggling contest and current standings.

Obstacle Course

OC is a spontaneous event that will sign up individuals during the day of the event, and record best times amongst like gender and ages. Best time in the course is awarded for OC champion. Click here for more Obstacle Course details.

Shootout

Shootout pits goalies against field players in a spectacular event that will keep track of successes and scores for both sides, until best performers are invited to create in the ultimate duel between the best players in the competition. Click here for more on the Shootout fun and for results.
